Itinerary

  • DAY1: Welcome to Serengeti National Park! Your driver will welcome you at the Serengeti airstrip and take you for a game drive enroute to your new home for next 2 nights – Asanja Grumeti. The Asanja Grumeti Camp is very exclusive!
    Serengeti is home to over 70 larger mammals, approximately 500 different types of birds and the largest migration of land animals on the planet: more than two million mammals roam its 30,000 square kilometers.

     

    Overnight at the ASANJA GRUMETI, LUXURY TENTED CAMP, SERENGETI

  • DAY2: After breakfast, head for a morning game drive at the Western Corridor of Serengeti, Nyasarori plains, along Grumeti River. The key features of the Western Corridor are the Grumeti and Mbalageti rivers, running almost parallel to each other, each supporting a bank of evergreen forest. The rivers sustain a permanent game population of zebra, wildebeest, all the predators and birdlife. It is also possible to find large pods of hippo’s and huge crocodiles in the Grumeti River. Return to the camp for hot lunch and relax during the afternoon before you go for an evening game drive with sundowners.

  • DAY3: After breakfast, depart with packed lunch for a game drive into Central Serengeti. The tracks and spoor on the ground tell the tale of the night before. Look for the Big 5 and have an amazing safari ending with a perfect sundowner! Head over to your new home – Asanja Moru – An exceptional Luxury Bush Camp. The exclusive Asanja Moru camp provides you with an authentic luxury bush camping experience. Asanja Moru camp’s area is best known for its enormous herbivore migration led by over a million zebra and wildebeest, a vast voracious lawnmower which in turn provides sustenance for a glut of predators.

  • DAY4: Enjoy views and your breakfast, followed by a game drive at the Moru Kopjes! Mornings are a great time for watching lions in action and getting a glimpse of the endangered black rhino. If you’re interested in the park’s ties to the indigenous Maasai community, visit Gong Rock and the region’s famous Maasai rock paintings. Return to the camp for hot lunch and rest, before you go for an evening game drive with sundowner. A perfect end to a perfect day, enjoy the dramatic shades of the African sunset at Jiwe La Chapati!

     

    Dinner under the stars & overnight at the ASANJA MORU, LUXURY BUSH CAMP, SERENGETI

  • DAY5: After Breakfast, depart to the North Serengeti and enjoy game viewing on your way (drive time is approx 5hrs) OR you can choose to fly.Spend the afternoon at the Mara river looking for Herds crossing the river & how the predators keep an eye on them.

  • DAY6: After breakfast, head for a full day game drive in the Northern Serengeti to view the beautiful eye-catching way wildlife. Head to the camp towards the evening!
