ASANJA NYASIRORI
Nestled in the heart of the Western Corridor of Serengeti National Park, Asanja Nyasirori is a luxury tented retreat that offers a front-row seat to one of the most spectacular wildlife theatres on Earth.
Designed with elegance and authenticity, the camp features seven ensuite luxury tents and a spacious two-bedroom ensuite family tent, each inspired by traditional Maasai ‘enkaji’ huts — thoughtfully reimagined with modern comforts and rustic charm.
Open year-round, Asanja Nyasirori promises exceptional wildlife viewing in every season. Set amidst the Nyasirori Plains and Grumeti River corridor, this region is home to a wealth of resident game — from large elephant herds to iconic lion prides, often seen lounging in the golden grasslands or stalking through the acacia-dotted terrain. These prides remain in the area all year, offering guests unforgettable big cat encounters beyond the migration season.
Each year, the Great Wildebeest Migration brings dramatic crossings as thousands of wildebeest brave the Grumeti River, teeming with hippos and massive Nile crocodiles, while the surrounding riparian forest shelters rare Colobus monkeys.
A signature feature of the camp is our luxurious take on a modern Maasai boma — a trio of interconnected huts forming a single private suite. Each ‘boma unit’ includes a lounge, bedroom, bathroom, and a private plunge pool, allowing guests to unwind and soak in the bush in total seclusion. Private dining experiences can also be arranged in your suite for the ultimate intimate safari.
Tucked discreetly into the woodlands, Asanja Nyasirori is where exclusivity meets authenticity — the perfect base for exploring the wild west of the Serengeti, far from the crowds and deep in the presence of nature’s most iconic creatures.
